Anybody doing a single kit? Not looking for crazy power but a few pounds from a single I think would be really nice!

That manifold would be a mess. Full Race did a single turbo set up on their ecoboost truck. I dont think they sell the kind though.

Why would it be a mess? It's a lot less clutter with only one turbo.

We really tried to come up with a routing that would work on my truck for a single turbo. There is no practical solution that I could find so the single concept was scraped for twins. If you have a chance to look at your pickup I would like to hear your opinion Wayne, I know you are pretty crafty.

With the comp turbos having the oil-less option now, I had purposed putting a single turbo under the cab basically replacing the resonator and feeding up to an air/water inter-cooler coming up from in front of the front differential. The builder decided he would rather do twins.

I really like the look of a single too.

Here is the pipe clearance with a 2 1/2 inch down pipe on a twin setup. We need at least 3 inch on a single kit.

How would you route the exhaust and where would you place the turbo? Keep in mind how hot the exhaust gets. What would you gain from going with one turbo VS two? Single would make the same amount of clutter. Both still use one BOV, both still use one IC.

TT Just hang the turbos off the manifold and the exhaust goes strait back. You keep minimal heat in the engine bay.

Turbos are right off the manifold with the 3.5 eco.
