turning up the boost on an Eco
Recently decided to try a manual boost controller on our test F150. Gained some significant power down low (about 50), but it tapered off at top of the pull. Might be out of turbo at this point, but still investigating. The compressor map for the turbo indicates about a 400 horsepower max, so this is consistent. Looking at some "other" tuning solutions right now as the big dogs dont have one.

This is what I was thinking when I was datalogging, the compressor maps don't show a bunch of room left.
Be the 1st to offer bigger turbos , I might bite

A MBC might be just the ticket for those of us that want a few more hp but aren't willing to modify something that leaves evidence that would void a warranty. Im thinking this is easily installed and removed with no trace of tampering? I used one on a WRX many years ago when they first came to the states and it worked great.

That would be the same as saying why buy a 5.0 if you're going to mod it? I can think of two better options that make more power out of box. I don't really care who is king or what PUT says about any of them, I bought what I liked best. Different things work better for different people. Some of us have a different perspective on it than you. After testing them both and pulling my trailer I found I like the ECO better for towing. I would hardly say adding a manual boost controller is considered heavy modding. It's less intrusive than an exhaust and intake and programming. Do you know what a MBC is and what it does even?
