No, people trying to justify the engine they bought don't like other engines. Boost is boost in my opinion. I would love to see an Ecoboost 5.0. The problem is that would require a redesign of the block to incorporate the CG design that the 3.5 has.

People have been putting boost on these engines with great success. Procharger, blower, and now turbo. Just goes to show how stout the 5.0 is that it can take the additional stress without CG blocks. Elitism gets old after a while. I see it on here a lot with people buying both the 5.0 and 3.5TT. Just don't understand why you can't be happy with what you bought.

What the heck is cg? And the engineers designed the coyote with direct injection and boost in mind so really all it needs is a stout rotating assembly and a more boost friendly compression ratio and I think they could have an "ecoboost" 5.0. Although I'd hate it if they called it an ecoboost.

Look at the block portion on there. It's CGI, not CG. My mistake. It's basically a design brought over from the diesel world to handle the load while keeping the weight down.

Oh that's what they used on the 2.7 which they used a lot of diesel tech on. Not the 3.5. Either way not needed in order for ford to boost the coyote.

True, but stronger block means more boost potential. Lol.

So does that turbo kit have everything but the intercooler and piping, or is it all included for that price?

I'm sure it is all included, I will be calling them to find out soon. I believe I know the guys who are building the kit from my racing days at Bandimere here in Colorado. Maybe they need my truck for testing? lol

they have a pretty active Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ExhaustDriv...erformanceEDP/
