1. Thinks pulling 15,000 lb is a good idea, and "proof" that it was done is all that's needed to convince others.
2. Gets an "I heart Ecoboost" shirt made.
3. Doesn't understand the very basics of turbocharging, but wants bigger turbos.
Draw your own conclusion.

I read the first 3 thinking "well, you know, some people are pretty stupid"
Read number 4
Thought "pretty sure the first 3 are present in #4"
Hilarity ensues.

OP... you're pulling 15k and you don't have the max tow package?
you may want to do your homework on your truck... not that the max tow is equipped to pull 15k, but it's more suitable than the regular 4x4 (which i think is rated for 9k'ish).
i wouldn't brag to the dealer how much you pull (in weight) because they won't be impressed and they'll probably put your remarks in their notes in case you have future problems.

I think with the proper setup on a flat enough road, he could tow 20k without Max Tow.
Mizzou, we need a report afterwards.

hmm... would have to see it to believe it.
this all seems like a pissing match. if you wanted to pull more than the truck rating, why wouldn't you just buy a diesel?

Dude, the power of the engine is not the issue......the physical truck is. My truck has no problems lugging around an 8k trailer, but that trailer moves the truck around some, quite a bit more than the F250 that it replaced actually. I have towed 15k fiver's with 3/4 tons and 1 ton drw, and there IS a night and day difference between them. I shudder to think what that much weight behind an F150 would do.....
