Turbo Upgrades for the ecoboost?
Anybody out there selling any larger turbo kits for the ecoboost. Something equivilant to putting a supercharger on a 5.0 or 6.2 liter? To get some really nice power gains? Thanks.

Interesting when you think about the eco. Stock it is 365HP/3.5L or 104 HP/L. That puts it near the top of the class for engines meant to be daily drivers (Like BMW, Audi, Honda). Once you get to ~120 HP/L or more, now you're talking sport motorcycles or 300 HP/L for full on race cars.

Without a way to modify the ecm [tuner] you could put the turbo from a locomotive on it and it wont raise the boost one bit. and if you go to larger turbos you would increase the lag time and make it less streetable. The factery turbos are capable of providing more boost than the engine can use in any thing short of an all out race engine. so unless you are building a track only truck that is not streetable save your money
