I've replaced enough turbos in my life to know you should use new hardware every time. Its funny to me they even thought about reusing them.

The hardest part other than the placement not for the faint of heart is those coolant lines.

Yes. As of right now we feel that you don't need to pull the motor, but I'm waiting to hear from Ford on how they service/reinstall the turbos. The studs don't hamper the install, the turbos come out with the whole assembly. We wanted to remove the studs because we wanted to reuse the donut transition. Sometimes studs come out sometimes they don't. In this application they need heat. You will send your core turbos, studs and donut back to us.

Don't wait for Ford go here:
http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdi...d=&kevin=rules
Pay $9.99 for 3 days access to all the service and wiring manuals for your truck and then print the pages you need to PDF.
I used that last week for some Explorer/Flex/SHO service manual access for $27.99 for 3 days.
Just FYI

Well I just looked up the labor for removing turbos and ford may at least jack the motor and or move something in to a "service" position. I know a few manufactures now enable some parts to be loosened and moved into a "service position". For example Audi does it with the front core support when working on the supercharger and front engine components...

2012 FX4 Labor is what I quoted... nothing for 13s yet.
7.7 hours for Both
4.0 hours for Left Side
6.4 hours for Right Side

Also shows Part #s and Prices for turbos lol $782(L) and $754 (R).

I also found this in bold NOTE: Use a 3/8" Jiffy-tite quick disconnect tool, such as Snap-on LDTSP4 or equivalent, to disconnect the turbocharger coolant return tubes.

OK i was able to print to pdf...

one question, who do you love... this guy!

Look what I just picked up:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251277018172...84.m1497.l2649

yeoman's work bro, I'm going to have to buy a new ink cartridge for this. BTW we only have a $1,000 refundable upon exchange core charge. The 13' turbos are more expensive, but they have less "stuff" i.e. no by pass valve...funny.
