You looked at bullydog, or bought one?

Livernois or SCT. I would waist my time with the others.

Sorry, but the thread just seemed oddly familiar. Perhaps its because its strikingly similar to this one:

https://www.f150forum.com/f70/tuners-171050/

Anyhow, there are some tuners that are clearly not as good as most (BD, Superchips), some that are pretty good (SCT), and some that people swear by (5Star, Livernois). Livernois does have the quarter mile record, which means something. There are at least a half dozen others out there that users love (MPT, KEM, JMS, Unleashed), but it's really tough to tell how exactly they compare in all areas.

what canned tunes come in the SCT and what are their hp and torque ratings?

Also has anyone reported better fuel economy running any of these tunes if they are driving normal- no WOT runs, burnouts etc

thanks

The SCT comes with 3 "tunes" for the different octane ratings. They don't have "ratings" but the 93 tune is worth about 50-60 rwhp. I think the highest number posted is 375 rwhp with this tune and they ran some good track times, too. None of these will net a real mpg improvement.

I would really like an sct tuner for my ecoboost but I'm concerned about it voiding my warranty. anyone able to get warranty work done on their truck after installing one of these? also are the transmissions in these trucks strong enough to handle the extra power?
