Default Tuned 3.7l

I just ordered a tuner from stage3 motorsports with custom 5 star tunes and can honestly state that I'm quite satisfied with the product and service. Last fall I had upped my tire size to 275/70r18s general grabber at2 and noticed about 2mpg hit in fuel economy. Not a big deal but I noticed the shift points were slightly off and decided to get a tuner to perk up the truck and maybe get a slight mpg gain. I decided to try the 87 performance /tow tune first, it really opened up the truck. I've only driven back and forth to work 1 day with it (about 60 miles) and have also noticed a gain in mpgs of about 2.5/3 mpgs. A gain of about 1 mpg before I installed the heavier/beefier tires. I can't wait to see a few weeks worth of data. At this point I don't even want to try the econ tune !

Another interesting fact to fellow Canadians about stage3 motorsports is that they ship to Canada duty prepaid with free shipping.

That's good information to know about tuning the 3.7L. I really like the engine coming from a problem plagued Ecoboost.

I've been doing lots of city driving the last 2 weeks and can't keep my foot off the gas due to the better response. I'm still seeing about 1-1.5 mpg improvement......In a few weeks I'll try the econ 87 tune but I'll probably revert to the performance tow tune for sheer peppiness

I decided to try the econ tune for a week or so. After getting used to the power of the performance tune it's feeling a little sluggish. Will update in a week after I get some Idea on mpgs.

No Idea on exhaust, but I do know we our stock pipe is pretty big and pretty efficient from factory.
