Truck wont start stuck on side of the road

Default Truck wont start stuck on side of the road

If anybody knows that can help . I stoped at the light and after moving a lil forward the oil light came in and truck shut off on me . The truck wil start but then turns of 2 secondens later .. It's the first day here in houston the weather has dropped down to the 50s did I not allow the truck warm up enough ? Or anybody knows what's going on ? Thank

Just curious, but what year and engine do you have and did you check your oil level on flat service?

2011 ecoboost .. Yes the oil was fine ... I'm just on the middle of the street

Will the engine crank or are you just getting a starter noise when trying to start it?

It was code pooc6 ... I had stil had gas on tho half of a quarter tank .. It just needed gas .

Yeah, when I park my truck on hills with the nose pointed up, it will read more fuel then I have and takes quite a while to move to the actual level.

P0016 may be a camshaft sensor unplugged ? Good to hear U had need for gas only. LOL

Nah it was pooC6 code .. It just weird cause it stil read it had 65 miles left lol

Ran mine down till it said 32 miles left an it took 26.3 gal. 26 gal tank. Whew!

That's weird man. Idk after having the truck for 2 years it's gottn worser now. I got stuck the other day when the truck said it only had 100miles left.
