Default Truck seems to think there is a trailer connected

My truck thinks trailer is connected tow miles keep adding up. Then yesterday I went through a puddle and the truck shut down with warning LOW OIL.
Checked oil all is good restarted no problem.

Anyone else have anything like this?

Goes into the dealership tomorrow, will see if they find anything.

I'd try the dealer but you can try going into the trailer settings and disconnect the trailer. The oil message popped up because your engine stopped running. How deep was the puddle.

In the trailer setting it shows no trailer attached. But when you start it it goes to the trailer window and starts added Km's to the towing.
I now have about 500 extra km in there I did not tow

I does not show a trailer to erase, the dealer seems to think it was the wiring harness running on the rail. It was hanging down and had a cracked wire or two they fix it and cleared the computer appears to be working well. Said if it happen again just bring it back.

I told them about a thread on hear saying the harness was mounted to low on the frame and can cause damage to the wiring they said if I have anymore problems they woud re run the wiring for me.
