Has anyone on here done this to a half ton? Any feedback? I would be willing to try it I just want to know if it will help much. I have a roll of surgical tubing I use for woodworking and a fish tape ready to go.

I wonder if it makes the door harder to close? Might not be a bad thing actually, people who ride with me have a habit of slamming the door. And I constantly have people opening my door to leave paperwork in my truck at work.
