Eco is a $1200 option on Fords site ($895 from the 5.0). Unless you build the truck, just picking an ecoboost off the lot is going to cost more than that generally. At the three dealers I went to (three different cities) they only had one ecoboost in the configuration i was set on and it was $1500 more sticker wise. The trucks with ecoboost engines seem to generally be built with more options
Your not understanding what im saying, I work for Ford. It is a 750 dollar option, anything more is the Dealer charging you extra

Well thank you all for the help. I actually don't tow much at all. I pull a boat to the lake a few times a summer, and a 4-wheeler trailor with 2 quads on it now and again. But thats it. I'm just trying to keep from ending up in a 12 MPG situation ya know? Our local Ford lot usually has an ecoboost with a lift and tires on it for sale. I'd like to drive one of those and see how low it takes the MPG's but right now they do not have one. And it will be an FX4 so it will have the 3.73 gear ratio.

does the dealer or manufacturer print the window sticker? because the price I was speaking of was window sticker prices before I even talked to a salesman

I didn't believe it either but when I went on Ford's website today and picked build my own XLT SuperCab, the ECO is a + $1895. Tried the same thing on a Lariat and it showed ECO is +$895.

All of the vehicles come to the dealer with the window stickers printed and taped inside the windows already, the dealer then has a list of what their cost is vs the cost you are paying.

Its showing you 1895 because its 1000 to the 5.0 and 895 from 5.0 to ecoboost. The fx4 only comes with the 5.0 or ecoboost so the 1000 dollar difference is already calculated into the price. As far as dth saying $750 that was the price in 2011 which I can confirm because it's what I paid.
