Surprising to me. These 6R80s have been holding a ton of power. Good luck man.

Exactly...I firmly believe this is a faulty part. I am supposed to hear something by tomorrow. I talked to the CS manager handling the case...I told him I think it was overlooked that I had the exact same thing happen before the blower and when they saw the blower just said no coverage. We will see...

The problem should still be handled by roush. As long as roush doesn't come check the cal code. The dealership should be contacting roush for you. I ran into this a lot installing or working on the cars and trucks with their performance or suspension packages. I would be calling roush myself and hoping I didn't tell anyone I got a different tune. Roush is known for using less than stellar tunes for longevity. In the end you altered that tune and if roush checks your PCM cal you will be paying for it too.

I don't disagree at all just saying he might be able to get it fixed under roush warr as long as it's not checked.

I'm not trying to lie and slide by and steal some coverage from someone. If the motor blew...I'd pay for it...if the rear end blew...I'd pay for it. If I DID NOT have a prior trans issue with the SAME kind of OEM part going bad...I'd be paying for it. The reason I feel FORD should fix it is the simple fact that I had shifting solenoid issues before anything was done on the truck...and that's what I'm having now. If ford doesn't and my tuner used some sort of roush trans tune and he can make it legit for them to fix then fine. I'm not going to try and lie to anyone tho. I can afford to fix it...I just don't feel it was caused by the mods and it should be FORD bill.

I wasn't trying to imply you would lie. Let me rephrase it a bit better. The way it works is as soon as the roush blower was installed roush took over your power train warranty. All repairs related to power train your dealer should be getting approval through roush. So no matter what problems you had before now should be paid for by roush. That's how it was when I installed or repaired roush products things may have changed.

As far as I know roush only covers it if you have there certain kit, installed by a certified installer, and you pay roush and fill out paperwork. I did all that except I didn't pay roush or send in the paperwork because there tune was garbage.
