Good thing I had it fixed before adding the blower then. Maybe you mis read...had 1500 miles on the truck and had a solenoid issue. Ford fixed it under warentee. Then added blower and now same issue at 32k miles...this time it broke stuff. The first time it happened I was minutes from a dealership so pulled right in. This last time it slammed into 2nd 4-5 times before I could pull off a buddy hwy and by then it was making the grinding sounds.
After the first time I tried to make them out a whole new trany in because I knew I was putting the roush kit on and this would happen. They did t and now here I am.

Best of luck but I have a feeling this will be an uphill battle. Should serve as a warning to those adding this much power or adding a mod that is not easily reversible.

And I wouldn't mod if I could t pay to fix it...I just think it's faulty OEM stuff this time. It is a good lesson for others...

Yep still there, they just called me today. They told me in the beginning 2 weeks out. There's two trans Tecs in town and they got a lot of work and the holidays. Perfect timing right lol. And I'm driving my mustang and it snaps the belt and destroys a pulley New Year's Eve morning...that's a easy parking lot fix...always something.

I sure it will be but to me it should be pretty easy to see that I had the same thing happen before. But this is not my first time doing this dance with dealerships. I had a Acura 3.2cl-s with the auto when it first came out. The trans went out and they wanted 6k to fix it. I knew from reading forums that it was a issue starting to make it self known and battled with Acura and talked to the regional rep. They wound up having to replace the trans 3 times...then I made them swap that car with a new one with the manual. I just hope this one is not that involved.

When you installed your Roush TVS, did you stay with the Roush tune or did you go with another tuner? Also, who installed your Roushcharger? If you're using the Roush tune and had it installed by a certified shop, Roush will give you a 3yr/36K mile warranty. If Ford is claiming that the problem with your transmission is because of the SC, then Roush needs to get involved because that should be covered under the Roush warranty.

When I put on the kit it was the roush calibrated one with the coverage...but it was not that great. I ahd a roush certified installer put it on...and now have his tune. He works closely with roush on the tunes...he also has the exact same truck as me but a fx2 with the exact same setup.
So I am getting the invoice faxed to me from the first time i had trans issues. I think the original is in my truck at the dealership. On the invoice it has the DTC code that they found...and what do you know P0774!! This one was for 3rd gear...this time is either 1st or second. Come on ford...this is cut and dry lol
