Something very similar happen in my 2010 F-150 4.6 w/6 spd transmission "but", I wasn't cruising at 70 . My truck would shift sometimes "violently" when accelerating between 3rd and 4th gear. I took the truck to the dealer to only have them tell me that there's nothing wrong and that they did a stress test on transmission and checked out the transmission module. What I findout later is that when the tires are properly inflated (above 35 psi) the transmission shifts better then every before. P.S. Hope the dealer gives you a better answer then they gave me.

My dealer loves me... I spent more money on that 6.0 there then most costumers do in a lifetime. They couldn't duplicate the problem, but I haven't been able to either. I'm not too worried about it...as long as it doesn't happen again. But they know about it and if it does happen again the service manager will "make" it reproduce the problem.
