Default Track time suggestion for stock 2011 truck

I was wondering for those guys that take their stock 2011 truck to the track to see how fast it does in the quarter mile, what you are doing? (besides running E85 in the 5.0L)

Do you use Manual and use the + on the side to shift gears so you have more control or do you leave it in Automatic? If you are doing Manual, do you shift when it sounds/feels right or are you watching the tach and changing when it gets towards redline (I know there really isn't (RED) on the dash gauge but I think you know what I mean)

Do you use Haul/Tow mode?

Do you turn off any of the traction control, etc?

Any other combinations?
