Default towing with 35's

Any input is appreciated. My question , i have a 13 crew cab 6.5 bed ecoboost max tow. The truck has a leveling kit and 305 55 20's. I tow 9500 to 10k up and down winding mountain roads, along the freeway etc. The truck tows great. on the interstate going the speed limit (75 - 80) loaded i get 6 or 7 mpg. I realize if i slowed , mileage would rise. I want to go with 35 1235 12.50 20's. But worry about power loss and even worse mileage. Anyone tow a similar weight with 35's?

It would make the truck tow like a truck with gears around 3.55 (sorry to lazy to do the math). Plus added weight I guess but what I'm trying to say is it is very doable. Worst case tune it if you find it is struggling. Nothing like adding 100tq to make up for tires

Which reduces the towing capacity.

Yes, but still above 9500, depending on options of course.

When the OP tows 9500 to 10k, he will max out or surpass the capacity.

Payload is a whole different story, if that is what you mean.

3.55 gears are good to 9800lbs but that is not taken into consideration the fact that he has max tow which includes different leafs. So impossible to say if he would be over the towing limit or not.
