I would be pissed if I had to go back to a v8 after towing with my ecoboost.

The dealer just called and said I had a misfire on cylinder #1. Doing more tests on it now.

Missfire, probably a bad coil.

Two months, 5,000 miles, no issues, 20-22 MPG from a 4x4 3.73 Lariat. My friend at work has 8,000 on his 4 month old truck, no issues.

Sorry you had problems. Ford will make it right.

They are replacing the coil today. I'm just concerned that this could be an ongoing problem.

Why? Electronics, if they fail, typically fail early in life!

False statement. My background - Electronics Engineer. Parts can fail at any time irregardless of age.
