Default Took the 5.0 SCREW to the track last night

I've got the Lariat, 4wd, fully loaded with 20" wheels. The best I ran was 14.82@93.98mph. I have no mods, except a tune. It was cold, about 45 deg and I ran in 2wd mode. I'll post the slip shortly.

That's unreal! Nice run. I ran 15.5@91.5 launching in 4x4 and leaving At close to 2000rpm then switching to 4x2 as soon as I took off. I have a platinum and wonder what our weight difference is. What track was this at?

Was this 93 octane tune? Advancetrac and traction control off?

First congrats on the time. That's cooking for a screw. So you trapped 94 with a tune? I know your truck is heavier but do you feel shafted reading threads of a tune/exhaust rcsb trapping 104? Or are you like me and can't believe there's no spray involved.

My truck runs 94.5 mph and is bone stock, same cab and config as his. Mine is a turd et wise, but runs hard out top. All we know about his run is temp. He could be at a couple thousand feet. Some vehicles are runners, face it. I have had mustang that would run circles around other Mustangs, just the way it is.

I've got 3.55 gears, the run was at NED which about 80' above sea level. As you can see the truck doesn't 60' well, and I didn't spin very much. I don't think it makes enough torque down low which is what I expected. I was running 89 octane. The other lane was my brother's 2011 Chevy 1500 crew with the 6.2L engine and 3.73 gears, thing is fast. We both had my own tunes. His best was 14.05@98mph. He didn't make much more power on the dyno but has much more under the curve and he's lighter and lower although it's 4wd as well. I still like the Ford better overall.

Here's a video of the run, as you can see I was out horsepowered. As I'm not an advertiser here I can't divulge any info on tuning. My truck put down 308 rwhp on my dyno. I used to own a GMC Denali with that 6.2L motor and it's by far the best truck motor out right now, I've seen as high as 340 rwhp with those things, You can't beat displacement, only problem is he has to run 93 octane to hit those numbers, the truck sucks on 87 octane. I shot this with my Droid and it sucks but not easy driving and filming!
