Default Is This The Timing Chain Rattle??!

Sorry for starting another thread on this issue. I am pretty sure these noises are the timing chain/cam phaser issue that has been talked about on here extensively. However, nobody will reply to me in that thread

I just traded my 2011 Ecoboost F-150 XLT on this 2011 Ecoboost Lariat. Starting to really regret this as my other truck was meticulously maintained and ran like a top.

This truck....

- weird rattle on cold starts
- turbo making strange burp/throaty noise through exhaust occasionally.
- rough shifting/hanging/grinding when shifting 5th to 6th around 80-90 km/hr

2 out of 5 cold starts have made this noise. I recorded the two below. The dealer had been moving the truck around all day to diff depts., no way I could have heard a cold start on the lot.

The truck is also making a noise that sounds like the Turbo sputtering at random RPM's and making this weird grunt in the exhaust and then it's also got a really weird vibration showing from 5th to 6th around 80-90km/hr.

Hoping someone has some insight for my particular situation. The other threads have been very helpful but my appointment with my local dealer is tomorrow. (I bought this truck a few hours away).

It still has factory powertrain warranty which I think is going to get used.

Vacuum pump.
I have read that it could be that as well, however listening to other peoples recordings it sounds to me like it's the timing chain issue.

This truck never had the CAC TSB completed. Since it lived it's life in Vancouver (a very wet/moist climate) I am worried there is damage to this motor and the turbos because of it. I guess we'll learn more tomorrow when it goes into Ford.

I've heard videos where the pump was the problem and the noise was different and lasted longer. The videos with the timing issue had the same sound as mine. To me anyways...

Vacuum pump won't be covered by powertrain, in which case I'm going to be very upset with the selling dealer. This is an issue.
