Probably so. Just seems like a first post blaming a tune for a blown engine the guy would have thrown someone under the bus. Given it was SCT livewire LMS can't be blamed lol.

Lol, very true. I personally have a hard time blaming a tune anyways but that's just me. I think it's usually the driver or defect that causes the blow up.

Im like you, I think it would have blown stock. You run your truck hard like I do and we both know that if blows it was from the pedal hitting the floor one too many times.

Mine has been tuned for 41,000 now and has over 49,000 on it with no problem. I don't thrash it though. My first tunes shifted at 6300 which I thought was excessive. My current tunes shift between 5800 and 6000 and are stronger to boot.

They stated they have NEVER seen this happen. My advice to you guys? Yes it gives you ALOT more power, but trust me, it's not worth it. My transmission still doesn't work like it used to before I"tuned"it.
Interesting bit of "information" for the very first post to the boards. Almost sounds a little biased and opinionated given the hundreds of others that have had no problems whatsoever??

No, it's the truth. Other little known facts: Tune an Eco and orphans die, dolphins will beach themselves and Ram owners will cry...... even more.

Hey, these are facts so tune at your own risk.
