Default Thinking of buying a single 10" sub. Help please....

My dads 12 eco has the sony sound and I love it. My 13 doesnt but for 2013 I think the tweeters come standard now. I want a small sub that will sound as good if not better than the sony sub. I want it to be stealth though and not take up any rear seating. I only have the super cab so space is limited. Does anyone have some suggestions?

I wonder if the subs are louder in the Ecoboost or 5.0.

I've got a single kicker 10" solobaric in a small box. Completely fills the cab when I want and complements the factory setup nicely. Try supercrewsound.com for a box. Guarantee that any kicker 10" and one the boxes from SCS will sound tremendously better than the factory Sony.

Sundown audio sd-10, it's their shallow series look at its specs for 149.99 can't be beat with 4.75 mounting depth

I agree!!! I have put together over 15 systems for my personal vehicles since I was a teenager and have always used JL Audio. Check out my setup in my signature. The bass is there for sure without losing clarity!

I'm running an Image Dynamics 10" in a Supercrewsound box in my Screw. Very tight bass. I'm using an Audio Control line-converter that reverses the bass roll-off on the factory deck. For power I have an old school Phoenix Gold MPS-2240.

Though I have never used or installed any JL products, the guys who do use them swear by them. That says a lot in my opinion. I think anything would be better than the Sony system (not a fan).
