If you have the opportunity to get rid of that perfectly good vehicle that you seem to be proud of for a vehicle that you will enjoy only until the newness wears off - why wouldn't you!!

The new vehicle might turn out, but as someone who up until the last few years bought a new vehicle every year or two can attest..It's fleeting. If you're happy now just do a mod you want and be happy with it again. The truck is almost paid off... and who really knows..A month in you might start to hate the Tundra. The last style looked better anyway(exterior)... Just keep the truck and tell us what mod you're doing next.

Hummm...you want a jacked up Tundra on 37's??? ... but you like (indicated by your post) to race ricers with your truck...soooooooooooooo ... I just don't get the reasoning. If it all about the looks, work with what you got (especially if you are near paid off)...it is a no-brainer!

Heard a new tundra idling the other day. The ticking was way worse than a 5.4l with phaser issues. Almost sounded like a little piston slap. I was surprised. I don't know if they all sound like that, it was the first one I heard idling.

Yeah I gave up on the Toyota Tundra guys. Just not my cup of tea. And you guys are really get pissed when I told you I'm test driving a 2014 Dodge Ram or just Ram truck 4 wheel drive outdoorsman edition. So I'll just sit here and let the hazing begin

We really don't care what you drive, as long as you are happy with the decision. I test Drove a lot of trucks over the last 4 Months, and the F-150 was by far the most comfortable and most customization to my tastes as well. Tundra felt huge and cumbersome, not to mention 10 MPGs driving around town with the salesman, Chevy was uncomfortable, and the Cylinder drop off felt gimmicky and only worked with the AC on low, and MAX AC Off(Salesman was even baffled said it shouldn't do that and would find one that worked right. Yea right... LOL), and dodge felt Cheap on the Inside.
You want a lifted Truck, Level off yours and run 35s on a new set of rims, and just switch rims and change the tire size in the SCT at will.
Your Wife is a smart lady. My Family, has always driven until they fall part, except for a few, but they pay cash or pay off in a year or so w/ 0 interest.

the new tundra has better fit and finish and has a smoother ride... in fact out of all trucks? I'd say its #1 in fit & finish and little details
the F150 is quite a bit more capable, with a sturdier frame (sacraficing ride), and a number of additional features that the Tundra is missing (i.e. LSD, locker)
At the end of the day, the F150 is a much better value for dollar and the 3.5 is a winner when compared to their 5.7 in both power and fuel effenciency
Tundra is the perfect truck for the family who wants SUV luxury, and the same SUV utility...
Whereas the F150 leads in "truck" capability, but the 09-14 may be at this time, the most "crude" but is far from pedestrian (i.e. King Ranch/Limited/Platnium)
for me... the Ram Longhorn is the nicest most comfortable truck to be in... but lacks capability, fuel economy and durability
