Hardlymoving

Am thinking that the 3.5 Ecoboost engine has solid valve lifters. The Ford literature describes them as Direct Acting Mechanical Buckets, and on the Ford Parts website they are described as valve lifters. On the Ford Parts website there are a number of valve lifters listed but each has a different dimension so I am assuming that is how they valve lash adjustment is set. It seems odd that there is no requirement to ever check or set the valve lash once the engine leaves the factory. Not that I haven't been wrong before but let me know if I am.
