Hopefully I don't have that issue, being in south Louisiana at below sea level. Again if I get it to work before I return it.
I don't really want to send it back because I'm a little lazy when it comes to my free time (I work alot of overtime) and because as long as SC has been around and reputable, I have to think that they'll work out the kinks on this fairly new product for a fairly new engine. I just hope it doesn't take them years to do it.

Got it up and running today on the performance tune... only because I had high octane in the tank. Turbos are a little louder but not annoying (must be an altitude thing). Roads were wet so I couldn't really get on it (I tried but spun the tires when I was going 45). I like it so far, but I'll let you know once I'm able to get on it. I'm going to install the stage 2 intake this weekend, we'll see how it runs with that. SC told me they don't have a CAI tune for it yet so we'll see if I can run it as is.

P.s. all superchips did to fix it was force another update. He said one of the files didn't fully download. (Maybe because of the k7 baud rate error? He didn't say if it was related) I did get the baud rate error while on the phone with him and he said that the download completed and to try the install anyway. He said it may be related to my computers firewall or something. Plugged it in and it gave me "error call superchips" as soon as I plugged it in (while verifying vehicle information) clicked ok and proceeded as if it never happened and it installed the tune with no issues. Just did a quick tune assuming it wouldn't work but it did. I'll try an advanced tune tomorrow when I have more time. This post is for anyone who purchases this product 1. So you know what to expect and 2. So you know how to proceed.

I know this is kinda an old thread but I wanted to toss my 2 cents out there in regards to the SC Vivid Linqs.

I got mine back in 2011 right after I bought my truck and after letting Superchips use my truck for 2 weeks to write the first EB tune.
Ever since day one it has never allowed me to update the "Linq" using Superchips own update software "Spark" one error message after another when I try to update...

As for the Bluetooth connectivity being unreliable.... That is also my experience with this thing. I have since found out that the Linqs app that we download from the play store only supports (or works) with Android version 4.3 and below... Anything higher then 4.3 and your bluetooth will never connect... Which is my problem... I have 4.3.4 Kit Kat so I'm S.O.L. in regards to using my phone... I had to buy an old HTC phone off ebay just to install the app to install the tune... Pretty stupid that they don't keep supporting newer versions of Android.

Superchips "Support" is poor at best. Again, they had my truck for two weeks at their Sanford location to write the first tune for the EB and I can't even get any assistance with their products.

And on another note If your android doesn't have a dedicated menu button in the lower portion of the phone (mine doesn't) then it's pretty much impossible to get your phone to actually connect to the linqs. You can easily pair in the bluetooth menu of the phone but to connect you need to be able to get into the menu of the linqs software/app. It's kinda foolish that the app can't work with a $600 phone

So my overall experience with this Linqs has been less then favorable... I hope some of you have had a better experience with it
