I think it must be in the error state from not updating because it doesn't show up in my tablet as a device. Thanks for all the help though. Hopefully they get the updater issue figured out. Mine still says k7 baud rate error, I've tried on multiple pcs just incase that was it.

I called SC and the girl told me to return mine and have them send it back and give me another. This was so I didn't have to wait. She didn't however get me to hook it to the pc and try anything though. If the one I'm getting tomorrow doesn't work I'll be pretty choked, and I'll have the livernois.

Ok so I got my new one today, I called stupidchips like the broad told me to. Guess what? They're closed! At 3:30 est. So I hooked it to my pc like your supposed to in an attempt to update it and it gave me the same error msg as last time. Urgh this ticks me off. I'm most pissed about their machine saying its after hours when it is clearly in their business hours.

So... like a dumb *** I ordered one (thinking your issues were back in April, and they have to have these kinks worked out by now)... Nope Baud rate error!!! Did they ever get this figured out for you? Or did you give up on them?

If it isn't too late, I'd return it and get an SCT. I wish so badly that I had gotten it instead of the SC. The tablet to linq comes with isn't the greatest either. The tune isn't horrible but there is better out there.

Ok got it to update... plugged it up to the truck loaded the "stock" file which I've read isn't "your stock file" then built my 87 tune tried to install and got "error: call superchips"! So I'll give them until Friday to fix it and then I'll send it back.

Just try to reinstall, mine gave that message routinely in everyday operation. I think it gave me the error one time installing but forget what they told me to do, I really have the worst memory.

I tried a few time and also tried to update again with my vehicle info now saved to the linq. Went back to try the install again and no dice. Who knows... the first few times I tried the initial update I got that k7 baud rate error that you got back in April or may. Just kept trying and finally got it to update... maybe it's connected to the install issue, maybe not.
On a side note, assuming I get the darn thing to work (eventually), has anyone tried to get a CAI tune for it? I have a AFE stage 2 arriving tomorrow and will probably new a tune for it. Can superchips create one for me? I didn't see that upgrade option on the updater.

It claims to have a cai tune on the device, I didn't have my stage 2 intake when I had my sc so I don't know if there is a difference. With no mass airflow sensor, I don't see why the programming would even need to change.

I wish I'd just gotten the SCT.

The SC tune still flutters the bypass valve at altitude, even with the altitude set to high. I won't be updating it either, because last time I did that it took a month and a half to get working again.
