Superchips Vivid Linq Update Issue

Superchips Vivid Linq Update Issue
Can anyone with a Vivid Linq for the EB please try and update their programmer from their PC? My Vivid Linq is throwing a K7 Baud Rate error after I tried updating it and I think my unit took bad firmware flash but Superchips is saying it's the whole update system that is broken. It's been 5 days already that I haven't been able to use it and I'm getting a little impatient and want to validate if they are giving me accurate information or just delaying sending me a replacement. Any help here would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

Edge is also have software issues. Now being the same company. It goes hand and hand. Edge said they are working on it an put in his notes that they would email or give me a call when they worked it out and ready to go. Been about 2'weeks now

Same line they gave me, they'll call me when they have an update. You would think if this was happening to everyone there would be a lot more chatter here on the forums. Something is up but I don't think we're getting the whole truth and it doesn't seem to be much of a priority.

Had the same thing when I tried to update mine before using it. Had me worried it was just me. Although buddy on the phone didn't mention a known problem he also didn't sound surprised, he said it like it wasn't uncommon. Wow am I impatient and I hope they get a solution pronto.

Has anyone heard back yet? This is driving me crazy, I'm going to call monday and ask if they have a solution and if not I'm gonna demand to return it for refund and go with Livernois.

Is your phone or Vivid able to connect to the link when it is connected to your truck? If so are you able to retune it? Are you getting a rolling datbase update that keeps updating your database?

Mine won't connect to my archos tablet while connected to the truck. I never have so I have nothing to compare it to though. I tried pairing Bluetooth on the tablet itself and I tried opening vivid and seeing if it would connect itself. I imagine you have to set up the connection first then connect in vivid. Either way I think mine is pooched.

Ok, I think I get your problem now. You have not connected your Linq to you phone/device in the Vivid app yet.
1. Pair the Linq on the phone/device side.
2. Go into your Vivid app
(it should try to connect as soon as you get inot the app so it may look like this)
3. Select your menu button (ussualy right next to your phones/devices home button) which should bring up this menu. Select Device List.
4. Once you are in the device list. Select/tap your Linq device.
It should pair with that phone/device from that moment on unless your phone connects with other bluetooth device such as sync first. In that case, unpair with Sync and then pair with Vivid.
