The claims are the same type of claims for the Superchips 1865 gas for my 5.0L. They claim openly the 87 octane tune makes more power and torque than the 91 octane tune. Signed up for the forum and searched it onloy to find even the guys at Superchips avoid the 'How does it make more power on the 87 octane tune?'. Haven't gotten a straight answer from them yet ... just doesn't make sense to me.

That's my thoughts. Tall claims with no proof. If they had a product that worked as claimed then they should send out some samples to be reviewed. But, they're not. Just "these are the numbers, this is the release date". Consumer beta testing at it's finest.

87 octane: 54hp / 45tq

The release date should be March 1, according to SC. I attempted purchasing the Flashpaq 1868 Gas on from the previously posted website and it went through, but an hour later was contacted stating it was posted in error and that I will have to wait until March 1.

Hope someone that has access to a Dyno buys one and runs it with (hopefully) great results! I will hold on till I hear a good confirmation on shifts and all around power.

I also purchase the extended warranty... who cares, really??

You should. The second you flash your ECU your power train warranty, and extended, are void. And, yes, it is traceable.

Doesn't bother me, but it might deter some people from running a tuner.

My Ford tech manager actually recommended getting a tuner to change the goofy shift schedule. I was shocked. He said he uses them on his vehicles and likes it. I took my ecoboost in recently when something went wrong in the transmission (a piece of metal shaving got stuck in a solenoid and shorted caused it to shift very harsh and get stuck in 3rd) and they didn't say anything to me about the ECU being modified. I did return it back to stock before taking it.

Gotta have someone to run a dyno properly and realize that there is NO 1:1 tranny ratio and adjust for that. Those SC numbers are all over the place in rpm ranges. We'll see when they actually distribute a working model.
