Just pull the lid off your ECM and read the code on the box.

Best way to do it is to plug the tuner in, read the code, then call Shawn. You never know for sure if your actually strategy code is the same. It sucks to wait but that's what I did. Got tuner shipped to me, plugged it into the truck, found the strategy, called Shawn and had tunes in an hour.

What he said. Sometimes the strategy could have changed since the truck was made so most accurate way is above.

Exactly! I am on my third strategy since buying the truck. One dealer update and one LMS update. Shawn has no problem sending you the tuner first so you can insure you have the correct strategy. The first time you use it, the SCT will give you an error telling you to update. It has read the strategy at this point so you connect it to your computer and use the SCT Updater to download the correct SCT tunes. Then you can load one to play with until you get your custom tunes and be amazed at the difference.
Be sure you check your strategy with the STOCK tune.
Also, you might try the Southern Speed Inc forum to get answers from the team that are specific to SSI tunes. Uh, never mind, I see you already did.

Just call Shawn and order then when you get the tuner plug it in get your strategy and you will get your tunes.
