Default Stainless Works EcoBoost Turbo-back Exhaust development

Its been a long time coming, but I've been cleared to get an EcoBoost into the shop as long as we can prove demand. So let's prove it!

At Stainless Works, we strive for the best sound and performance on the market. With that said, we have decided a Turbo-Back exhaust would be the most beneficial from a performance stand point. The stock down tube is not known to flow well at all and we feel there is a lot of power to be found there.

Sound is really important to us. I'm sure watching any of our videos will back up that claim! We are looking for a deep sound with some turbo whistle coming through. Starting all the way up at the turbo should help us achieve the desired sound a little easier and will make the Stainless Works system sound better than just a normal cat-back.

We are going to do a Group buy for the introduction of this system.

Who is in for a Stainless Works Turbo-Back exhaust system (available with or without cats)?

More than likely this will be a single 3.5" 304L stainless system, but if the truck doesn't respond to that, then we will build whatever it takes to get the best result. We cannot set a retail price on it without actually having built it yet BUT we are guesstimating we will be somewhere around $800-$1200 regular price (depending on whether you get cats or whether this becomes a single or dual exhaust).

Any idea how long development will take roughly? I know you guys make some quality parts for sure!

Also, do you happen to want/need a test vehicle Ecoboost? I'm in Columbus so only hour or two from you guys and have a 12 SCAB 157 wheelbase with a whopping 367 miles on it. lol

I am in for sure if the sound is actually deep or it is fairly quiet, just no high pitched ricer sounds... Would want to hear a sound clip first.

Once we get the truck in here, we should be 4-6 weeks until we have a product. I just need some NOISE in here from you guys so I can start working on the truck

Couple videos of the V8 F-150's if you guys haven't seen them.

This system will only be released if we are happy with the sound and performance.

In years past I've heard a few V-6 engines with a turbo type muffler that had a pretty good sound. Like someone else said NO RICER...weed eater sound, please. But something that just has a great mellow tone would be perfect.....Question has Stainless Works even bolted on one of your S-type or chambered turbo mufflers on an Ecoboost yet????? Just to see what it sounds like.
