like I said my truck has leveling kit on 33" MT's 3.73 gears, airaid cai on a sct 93 canned tune and the truck ran 2.0 60ft 9.20 @73 and 14.51@91 and that was leaving in 4high at 2400rpms.

Won't be long, we are working on mine now, I'm hoping really soon, it will be another comparison day.

This is only partially true. If that was the case I would probably just get the T5 and have it over with. 2 separate occasions in a row I placed more than 3 calls before I got any results. The first tune he sent me was the wrong strategy. Then I waited almost 4 weeks running around stock to get the corrected tune. It finally took me PM'ing Rodney on the "other forum" to get the damn tune.
Like I said I really don't want to turn this thread the wrong way. I think it's off to a good start, just want everyone to understand why I'm looking elsewhere. His tunes are good and customer service can be decent depending on what day you catch him on.

Here's the thing, only a handful of SSI guys ever run their trucks. Cbvet just ran a 99 trap with full bolt ons and Raptor tune. Faster than trex, right? Now other than drivability, which I can't attest to, how are SSI tunes the greatest tunes available? LMS=raptor in the 1/4.

Yeah, good points. I have also heard that revisions of other tuners usually take something away that was desirable in the first place. I believe Shawn has the most robust understanding of the data, tables and maps than any other tuner... this is why subtle changes mean you get what you are looking for without sacrificing something else - kind of the brain surgery with the right instruments v. a hammer and chisel analogy.

With Shawn, your tuner is a phone call away.

When SSI sends someone to the track with a prepped race tune, trucks have repeatedly demonstrated faster time with faster trap speeds. That said, it is the drivability that really sets Shawn's abilities apart.

Lots of guys will PM all of this information described above, but it seems to stay off the boards for some reason.

In any case, there are absolutely loads of options and compared to the 40+K we drop on these vehicles, a couple of hundred to try out various tunes to see what you like is a spit in the bucket.

Raptor is still a driver's tune. Don't make something out of this that isn't there. -2 on peak boost and electroglide shifts moved the paradigm forward. *****-out track tunes are a phone call away.

Think I am going to give the boys at either LET or MPT a call tomorrow. I will still give an unbiased review once I decide who I am going to call and get some time on the new tune

I Run the MPT 93 race tune the latest version, i am on my 3rd revision and just sent out for my 4th.... Every revision gets better than the last, driveability to me is stock with loads of more power. Mike and the MPT crew have incredible customer service when they promise something they deliver. Id recommend them to anyone. But i have no experience with any of the other tuners on the forum and i am sure they would all take care of you too.

Nah, it's not bs, it's business. It's no different than any other business. Send the same plumber to 2 houses. Treat the plumber well at one place and poorly the other place. Objectively look at the result.

I run a business and can tell you without question that people that treat me well get far better service than those who do not.

You are starting to argue and your anger is showing.... Thus and anyway, heading somewhere else is likely a proper direction for you.

Shawn will deliver another platform paradigm...... and those that are open to the options will have something else to talk about.

I'm still on the T4 SnI, because in the plethora of threads I've read and tunes I've run - nothing compares. One day that might change.
