He can use the money he owes me to pay for his lawyer.

My tunes from 5 start are from 2012 and 2013 I am sure that they have improved by now. I will give 5 start a second try.

If you really want to contact Shawn
www.southernspeedinc.com (562) 305-3532

Just call his number and he will respond. He pretty much just uses his email for sending and receiving tune files, Datalogs. He communicates with the phone one on one. Just call and you eventually will reach him. Then you can work out your issue. And I believe you mean 5 star, not 5 start.

I looked at OZ tuning and what does ken mean by a omega tune that you can run any octane gas and its the only tune you will ever need. Is it a weaker tune that runs 87 to 93? Just curious if any of you have it or tried it?

For what it's worth, I like my Livernois tunes....They are a bit conservative, but I'm very happy with them. My truck has been tuned with their 91 octane tow tune (Tipped up for a bit more boost down low) for 50,000 miles and it has not had one issue. Customer service is awesome too.

The idea behind the Omega tune is that you can run any fuel, any time without switching tunes. I have run the tune on 93 octane and e85. You can run 87 or 89 as well, you just need to drive it a few miles and let the vehicle register the octane before you get on it. The tune is very smooth and Ken has the shift points bumped up close to 7k rpm on the 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift. Under normal throttle the truck feels very much stock. When you put your foot in it you really feel the VVTiT kick in. I think it is a great tune for someone who wants a good all around tune that is not necessarily into something really aggressive. Ken has done a bit of work with guys running the Boss intake and the cobra jet setup as well. Ken is a nice guy and his product is pretty good. He is easy to work with as I data logged a few revisions for him in my truck. The tune returns pretty good mileage and I have used it on a couple of road trips. When I am around town I run my SSI2 or SSI4. You can see more about it on the High Performance 5.0 forum on facebook.
