Squealing noise when flooring it.
I am getting this squealing noise when i hammer on it. It almost sounds like a boost leak or a pulley. Any body else have this problem?

tires?
haha
is it only under load or even when you just rev the engine while in neutral?
when i think squealing i think belt or pulley.

It's called wheel/tire slip in some circles. :>)
Or water pump bearings ?

I have the same situation. Drive 65 mph, slight up hill grade, put the turbos under heavy load, I hear a strange sound/squeal. Not sure what it is...pressure venting from the turbo system? I don't know but easy to reproduce. Probably will take it into the dealer this fall since the engine is performing well and there are no check engine lights.

Same as above. Truck has 4700 miles, sound started about half way in. No rhyme or reason why/when it does it, but it does. Ive also noticed it at times when I park the truck; tap the throttle and it goes away.

If you're experiencing a noise like the one murdr describes, I'd recommend making an appointment at your dealership so they can inspect. Be sure to come back to this thread and post your results; I'll hang around here just in case you need help from my neck of the woods.

Wondering if it could be a leak coming from the exhaust manifold...I believe there were a few having noises because the manifold had warped and Ford replaced the manifolds and it fixed it
