I'm currently having this issue also and has gotten worst in the past few months, its loud now, louder than my 4" are cat back. iam having trouble making time to take the truck in the dealership

Are you able to schedule an upcoming appointment with a dealer, ecokid? I know it's often difficult to make it there, but certified Ford dealerships are best able to diagnose the noise you're hearing. I suggest getting it there as soon as you can.

Let me know when you schedule that appointment, along with your truck's model year and an updated odometer reading; with this information, I'll be able to look into some available options.

I have 3400k km on my ODO and I find I get a bit of non-boost squeel or rattle sound when I am at about 1200 RPM and touch the gas or when letting it back down.

talking to my buddy who is a drivability tech, he says that its very possible that one of the turbo's are siezing...

I'll have to bring it in sometime, but as I have a catback, I'll have to make sure I bring it to my buddy, so they can't say it was the exhaust that's causing this to happen.

Could be a manifold leak too? but I do have to admit, I hear it more since I put on my exhaust (hoping I didn't break anything when removing the stock exhaust)

Mine wasn't with the Ecoboost, but I have had a high pitch squeal under throttle before and it ended up being a manifold leak. In my case a manifold bolt had just loosened up. Torqued it down and problem solved.

My 2013 plat. With 11,000 . just started this noise dealer appt made for next week. Anyone who had this noise find bout what it was?

so I was told that the changes to the CAC and the BOV on the 2013+ makes this noise, where as the previous ones don't.

I notice this only on the driver side of the engine, but it could just be cause my AFE exhaust is on that side as well...

the noise I have hasn't gotten progressively louder, but it is loud due to my intake silencer removals.

I think this sound may actually just be normal, as its exactly the same as what I have.
