splash panel on eco
Was in town today in a parking lot, pouring down rain, and a guy walking out of store said you've got something hanging under your truck. It turned out to be the splash guard, some may call it a skid plate. Sure hope I don't have to skid on it. Anybody else having this problem and have you contacted Ford yet.

If the very front one, its just held on by platic clips. Has yours had the first oil change yet? Might be that the screw clips didn't get locked back in place all the way.
If not that one, can you post a pic?

I found mine hanging down as well. I had taken it loose to look at the power steering unit. I just figured that I didn't tighten the thumb screw latches back up properly. I will be watching it for awhile.

This is a major oversight and engineerig flaw on Fords part, people should cancel their order
Kidding......
If it the front one it is hard to get the last one locked in right. At least this was my experience when changing the oil for the 1st time.

If you go the right of that there is an access panel with 1/4 turn thumb screws that could have not been connected correctly. It allows access to the oil filter. This is what I am guessing, as it makes the most sense. But, some of the push pin pastic thingies (technical term) could be missing, they can and do break.
