I guess one point I was trying to make in my last post and, didn't quite articulate is.....full throttle numbers etc. are great but, a dyno can't show you how good the drivability is. I don't drive at wide open all day long so a product that greatly improves things for the way I drive is of much more use to me. It rocks at wide open but, the way it pulls away from a stop sign with hardly any throttle is ridiculous. Feels like my truck is a thousand pounds lighter. This was after the downpipe.

I have the dual now. One cool thing with the dual is if for some reason down the road you want to make it quieter for whatever reason, you have room for a resonator. Not that it's bad now but, the older I get, the less noise I like.

So your saying with just your downpipe installed, and NOT the exhaust, there was a noticeable difference in performance and maybe some more turbo sound?? I DO NOT want my truck to be loud, but I'd love to hear the turbos a little bit more...

IMO, you will benefit from a down pipe far more than a cat back. I can't wait to do a catted down pipe on mine. It should really wake it up. And then it should really come alive with a custom dyno tune.

Yup turbos are noticeably louder and ya when I put the downpipe on it was a big performance boost in order I'd say the most to least is livernois tuner, offroad y pipe, heartthrob, airraid intake... But I'm not running heartthrob anymore

Do you have any videos of the exhaust? I'd love to hear it with the offroad downpipe and stock exhaust.

This is an issue I am having because not having started any performance mods I know the solo mr400 is the exhaust I want. However I have been trying to decide between solo downpipe (catted) and livernois ( they have the cai, tuner, thermostat, and downpipe in a package) whose tune I plan on getting ASAP Does anyone have any input on the Livernois downpipe. Or even a video?

Any reason why you're not running the heartthrob exhaust anymore? Not compatible with the Solo down pipe?

This isn't one of the pipes you listed, but it should get you close.

Catless MAK

Driving around normal the truck is quiet but the turbos are loud! My friend was riding beside me and said it sounded like a semi.... hah

WOT has a good sound with the stock muffler. Sorry I didn't really get that in the video. IMO it sounds like of like a 350/370Z.

Overall, I love it. I hate the way these trucks sound with an aftermarket muffler. I think that the downpipe+stock muffler is the best. My opinion.

Also remember that I have the resonator removed with the OEM Ford part from a 2010 f150.
