Maybe yours is quiet. I've had what seems like a million variations of exhaust on mine. The catless pipes raised the interior volume the most compared to any muffler change or increase in pipe diameter.

The only time mine becomes loud inside is when I'm lugging up a hill at a low rpm. Otherwise it's quiet. Well, to me at least. You might think otherwise. It's a very subjective subject. Hopefully this new resonator and muffler will take care of the rasp and the noise in general.

It isn't running any richer, it is just the fuel that would normally be burnt up by the converters coming out the tailpipe as soot.

If your tuner can't lean you out to the point your engine blows up then you need to find a better tuner. I'm not buying that crap. What's your A/F ratio?

Mine isn't a Solo but I have a catless downpipe with the stock catback and mine sounds stock during normal driving. You can hear a bit more turbo whoosh @ WOT but it's not raspy sounding at all.

Any sound clips or vids? Sorry if you already posted.

You have the ideal setup IMO. Best sounding combination I've heard...

Solo catless has dual mr400 resonators built in to the ypipe. Which is why they only increase by 5 db.

If you do any towing I'd recommend the solo dual system with the ypipe of your choice. If you tow any at all, I'd do the catted pipe.

I don't have the technology to make one. The best I could do is... I might be able to find an old cassette player and make a recording.

Well the cats woulda stopped a lot I agree but it's rich for sure it's got that burning the eyes scenario... Just a little too much I'm thinking... I'm running a edge but you can't adjust the a/f as far as i know. We've put the spacers in under the o2 sensors but its still not enough to fool the computer it seems
