So is it the tune or is it sneaky pete tactics to make the tune look good?
I am waiting still for hard numbers on anything. Dyno, track, you name it. We have seen two passes and that was what 100 revisions ago? Take the tune and run it PLEASE! How do you know all the other tuners ran their trucks on perfect DA or temps like you guys are looking for? If it pooches out or runs strong let us decide how much was tune or atmosphere. This might be the longest thread with out results haha.
I think all the tunes are just about maxed out on power that they are going to make on turbo efficiency and fuel, it's all in the shifting and driveability. I trust you guys on the it drives good, but I want more than that before I buy. You guys know I am on the fence, give me that last bit I need to decide!

I can already tell whats going to come with this after we prove how fast this tune is... "sneaky Pete tactics" should I take pictures of my truck at the track to go with it? I will be in full trim. Stock exhaust and all. Im tired of hearing other people say how close a track is and im going to run and this and that.... I have a track 20 miles from me here in the muggy gulf coast and have been racing and making passes for a 10 years in 13 different vehicles. Driver mod won't be an issue for me. However I damn near have to launch from idle with my stock tires to see any traction. And if thats what it takes for a 1.9 60ft. So be it. The MPH will speak for itself.

I wish I had a track here, But I'll say one thing, just street racing I haven"t lost yet, I'm sure I will sometime, But last night with 93 level 3 tune, it was a quick kill The dodge Hemi truck never saw it coming, and it was tuned cat back etc. Not bragging just saying,And I didn"t use my meth injection

Well you might not be making excuses but that's how it comes across. You make it a point to mention your heavy tires, the size of your truck and crappy Cali gas. Maybe I haven't paid close attention to every one else's posts about their times but I don't recall anyone mentioning repeatedly how heavy their wheels were or what crappy/great gas was in the truck.
I'm not hating on the tune by any means, in fact I'm very interested in it and will probably give it a whirl now that its had some time for tweaks and I've finally been able to get DP's and meth checked off my list.

It is not excuses because 13.8 is GOOD - no excuses needed. I will tell you why: 13.7 was ran on a 93 tune and on a truck with ligher wheels. Why do I keep mentioning wheels? Because that tire change which was a 16lb change dropped my quarter time by nearly half a second. So, they make a huge difference. If I am almost even with those differences - that says somethig
I get where you guys are coming from, definitely. I am not arguing - just explaining myself. I know for a fact that Shawn has better tunes. I have my only run and the dyno numbers. I am trying to articulate the fact that his tunes are better. However, I think it just comes down to the fact that people wont believe it until they try it.
If I were to run a 13.0 - people would still come back saying... well you now have lighter wheels, were running methanol, dropped the spare, etc, etc.
I know its a better tune and that is good enough for me, so I guess I will just bow out on my comments until I have more times - but like I said, probably wont even matter then anyways.
