Are you asking about with the SCT?? CoreyMS has a thread in this section of the forum about 2-3 down "Datalogging with SCT" I think is right.
very easy once it's all set-up.
In a nut-shell....download live link from SCT's website. Plug the SCT into th OBD-2 port...select datalog...plug the usb cable into the unit and then the unit into your laptop. Corey has a good write-up on his thread for the thorough explanation.

Just got a 3 with the 93 lvl5 WOT run. That's totally acceptable. So I just click the few things you had to record, press start, hammer it, let off and press stop. Okay....how long at WOT?

^^^As long as you feel comfortable running it. I personally ran to 112.... for Tuner "x".
Not recommended unless you have a closed roadway, or airport... just saying.
EDIT: Ideally I would want to log it to a few more mph's then you want to run...things get a little funky around 100 (there's another shift there about).

better looking than geno
3 or less is better. I don't mind if it adds to the moon, it starts dumping timing, is or less is more better.
Some trucks will react differently as well. Temps, gas quality ect. Hell, plugs could cause some.
You could change gas stations and have more if its stale.
Lots of factors. Its up to you to make sure your end is right then go from there.
Joey, on another note after logging let shawn look at it. Usually he can tweak some, although the base file is usually close.

I'm assuming and you know what assuming does... is that if you now have the SCT tuner, you should be able to datalog the LMS tune through the SCT tuner...I can log stock (pretty sure... been a while) so you should be able to log LMS with it as well.
but short of having the SCT or tq pro, I guess you couldn't.
EDIT: Is the best way to reach Shaun by phone?? And when is the best time to call him?
