Haha! That was quite witty!

Now do you still feel all the shaking and limp mode power loss while inebriated. I guess one advantage is that the tow truck can bring you home instead of the cab? Hahaha. Sorry man. Couldn't resist

Good day Socal fans!!! Planning on going to the Eunice track this afternoon not to run but to see whats all out there... havent been in a long time!

Shawn is supposedly ironing out my tune today on the ecoboost soo u never know but im sooo ready to be rolling and just switch tunes when I have different octane or wanna run a hot tune, which Socal has them on fire!
Just having some idea and boost issues, I think it due to those darn codsz why couldn't they have one code for all f150 ecoboost. ...lol that would be too easy and Shawn wouldn't have to chase them around.... lol
wake up Shawn lets get this baby goin!.!.- have people to see and things to do. Lollol JK

I am loving this tune the more I drive it. I thought no company could match the low end of my 5 Star, but Shawn not just matched it, he exceeded it with just the 87 tune. It is still to early for a full review and I only have the 87 tune so far. I need to put some time in on this one before I tell Shawn how I want the others. So far, the only change I would make is to have it shift into 6th a little later. It currently shifts to 6th at around 45 mph and I would like it to shift a little later at around 53 mph. That is my preference, and others might like it the way it is. Other then that, awesome tune. The best I have to date by far, and I thought it would be impossible for someone to replace my 5 Star as my favorite daily driving tune.

I have been working with Shawn the last couple weeks tweaking on the shift strategy on level 5. To me power is one thing and driveability is another. Right out the gate the shifting is good but with the extra power now having the truck in the right gear in normal driving conditions is a big thing for me. As I have mentioned before I have tried pretty much all the tunes out there for the ECO and before that came from the diesel world where I was tuning my own truck with EFILive.

The most important thing you need to do is work with ONE file. Shawn will send more than one so start with one and stick with it make changes to the one file. Once you have it nailed with that file Shawn can easily take the changes and paste those changes into the other files. Secondly, pay very close attention to what you want changed and be VERY specific to Shawn what those changes are. Being vague will only slow the process down.

With that said, for those that want to try my shift strategy ask Shawn for the MattH shift strategy. We worked on the upshifts and downshifts under light throttle from gear 2 and up. For me this tune is now the best I have had as it drives awesome when I am just driving around and gets up and goes when I want to as well.

When you are giving it say 1/4-1/2 throttle do you stay at about 2000-2200 rmps then drop a few rmps when it shifts but then jumps right back up? This is different from stock because at stock when it shifts the rmps lower. Just wondering if this is normal or not
