I'm wondering how much of the killer sounding response is from rescaling the throttle pedal? Does the same amount of pedal now give you 25%,35%, or more throttle blade opening?? Anyone know?

No, I thought of that. How does he eliminate the flat spots that plague the LMS tunes. FM, that's how!

I've wondered this as well. But also wondered why nobody else could recreate this phenomenal response. Even though it doesn't seem faster than LMS yet, it seems everyone loves driving their truck more with Socal tunes.

I can definitely attest to the flat spots and have emails from over a year ago to LMS to try and address the rubber band feeling. The v2 and v10 don't do it nearly as bad as the original 93tune. Like a yoyo effect pulls and slows pulls and slows.

No doubt it sounds like fun. But, if every time I think I'm just barely on the pedal, I've actually got a throttle blade that 1/2 open....I may as well buy a fuel tank for the shop at home so I can buy in bulk.

My MPG (or whatever it is called there) has improved. Unless I am in it, which anything will drink the fuel then. It is the instant torque that is great, but it is not a feeling that you just went half throttle.

Very hard to describe, until you feel it.

That is an incredibly helpful post. Thank you.

Also, even though my nation switched to the metric system before I was born, I'm more comfortable speaking in inches, feet, pounds. Anybody up here who works in the trades is. Industry didn't switch just because the text books did!

Thanks again.

Here is one more analogy. At very little pedal movement, it just moves forward with what seems like effortless energy with endless power. Hard pedal movement wakes it up to be effortless energy with boost.... and depending on tires and road conditions, WOT wakes up and can get very enjoyable or scary. That depends on who is with you and what you almost hit......
