I was getting very frustrated with my LMS tune when stepping on the gas from cruise and having everything but what I wanted (Go!) happen. We get that you are happy with LMS and that is fine, but that will be over if you try SoCal. I'm not trying to bust your *****, but the excitement in this thread is for good reason.
Whoa easy buddy! Who pissed in your Cheerios this morning?
There are so many posts on 2 specific threads on this site, its hard to keep up. It was a simple question..... Get over it.
And obviously you know nothing of me. I don't have ANY tune on my truck. Never have! So NO, I'm cant say I'm happy with LMS, because I've never tried it. I'm not the nut-swinging guy of LMS like some others of SoCal on here. And that is why I'm asking so many questions and trying to be fair here. I'm not going to jump on something without definitive proof.

Its great that SoCal has put out a product that may surpass LMS. Competition is good.

I apologize. I saw you were posting in the LMS thread and made an assumption. But the answers are here and are the same repeatedly and your question hit me before the coffee did. For us converts, we had to justify having spent $600 and not getting what we hoped for. And it was sausage gravy over biscuits, not Cheerios.

K. You would have to drive it to know is the best bet. If anyone is happy with whatever tune they have I think that is great! It doesn't have to be one of my tunes at all. Its all good. We just did way more work and didn't sit back on our rump and decide that good is good enough.

I will address a swipe I heard last night about only having 3 weeks tuning though ( very comical and desperate may i first say). I do Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, Stand Alones, Diablo Sport , Sct, Hp Tuners, and many more fuel injection systems and was tuning since the mid 90's. I tune in more than 12 states and abroad. Im not just some tuner stuck in 1 company in 1 building working 8-5 on whatever and whoever tells me what to do. That being said, now you know why all you folks have something better than the average oatmeal you have seen for the last 2 years for breakfast in your eco platform. I listened and gave the customers what they wanted. A full Buffet! Thank you and you can all thank Lance for starting this ball rolling. We appreciate your business!!

Well put. Catering to each vehicle is what brings the satisfaction, best dd and best dyno/track times. No two vehicles on the same platform are the same. Some need more air at idle, some need more timing, some like to be fat with timing up top, some like to be lean with less. The fact that you'll take the time to review each log for every customer is astounding and commendable. That takes sheer time and dedication. Keep up the good work and hopefully some of your customers will be able to lay it down at the track to appease those bystanders that reference a good tune via track times. The select few that realize that is merely a small slice of the pie will make their decision based upon other characteristics related to driving and safety measures still implemented yet still being a blast to drive daily. After all, if one was in search of a badass drag truck, surely a supercrew cab 4x4 on all-terrains wouldn't have been their starting point.
Tune on socal, tune on.

I completely agree! Thats the problem though. I dont have ANY tune of any kind on my truck. I just bought a used LMS AIW about a month ago, but I just cant pull the trigger on getting it recal'd to my strategy code until I do my homework. I actually have it up for sale now because its just sitting here.

I've had many tuned Mustangs and Cobras in the past and have done nothing but sink money into tunes that just didnt cut it for me. None of them were canned....they were all custom. So this is why I'm asking so many questions and looking for proof.
I agree, the factory program on these trucks are terrible! I knew that from day one. Throttle tip in, boost lag, etc. I'm a freak for speed, always have been and always will be. I'm never satisfied with factory. But I just want to do it right before I drop any coin.
Its obvious youve been tuning for years or these guys wouldnt be so happy. Keep up the good work. I know youre busting your ****!

There are no bad questions really... only "how" they are asked is what can set people off. I have a 3015 I have personally used for 2 years for data logging. I will sell it to you for a serious discount if you want it. Ill back the warranty as a new unit. Email me if interested.

I hope you're not referring to me and how I asked a question....it was a honest, easy question....asking about an LMS 91 vs yours thats all. Cheers.

People keep posting..what about track times? Have they not seen Boosted's slips? I guess that just doesn't count. Better et and mph albeit he was in an 1/8 mile track it does show you a slip now. Dont you all worry though..there will be more coming.
