Not only he has the best price, he has the best customer service and will stop at nothing until you are satisfied. However there's definitely some other vendors to choose from
I'm with you Brett... Shawn's past has been hinted at in the past, tell you the truth I could care less about the past or the circumstances of those individuals. I know I've had 3 other tuners and none of them touch Shawn and for my $175 I've had 9 different tune files sent my way... the 1st was better than the others, and everyone after that has just stretched that gap further and further. I've NEVER had to wait until the next day or Monday for a file. And he takes the time to conversate with you to explain any issues and fix them (even when they're your fault... I.e. gave him the wrong strategy code). He is no doubt on the top of the ecoboost tuning game... I can't speak for other platforms, but I don't own other platforms so no reason to care about them... the 5.0 and 6.2 guys on our forum seem to be very happy though.
So sir, you asked, that's how much I trust this guy with tuning MY vehicle... and that's why I willing to tell people to "feel comfortable" buying tunes from Shawn! I'm sure you've seen much of the same in this thread and you'll see much of the same on our forum... this is not 2009 and these are not mustangs. Even the former socal trolls haven't looked back and are very satisfied.

I did some more googling and it seems there were complaints from mustang folks around 2003-2006ish. But the summary of what I found through a broader period is in post #8 in the link....

"Shawn can be an arrogant ****, but his tunes are ok by me!"

I was initially just trying to find his website to check it out based on this thread. I still may...

People at the top of their game are often arrogant. It can come from the confidence that you are really good at what you do. I debated for weeks whether to do business with Shawn because of his online persona and some old posts. He won and I won. Great guy to talk to and work with and my truck runs better than with any of the other 3 tuners I've tried. I call and talking to Shawn is like putting on my favorite slippers.

Someone just posted track results in the other forum of 13.30@100.18 with the 93 T4 Street tune

Isn't the only difference between them throttle response at part throttle? Someone said full throttle was the same.

Street tune has less throttle tip in, and typically slightly lower boost. I haven't heard from Focus directly what his boost is. Normally peak boost on most of the street tunes is 18.

Mine is typically 19.7max and about 18.5-19lbs held. I also have a tune that's pushing 22lbs and holding 20+. Neither is a street tune. The tune I am running right now peaks at about 21.7.

(keep in mind I have a 13' and it looks like they are holding 20lbs much easier...most of my logs fuel pump % sits at 47% WOT). Boosted has been running higher than 20lbs without running out of fuel....so I hope that's not supposed to be a secret. I've spoke with Shawn a few times, and basically his tunes are using fuel a whole lot differently than previously thought which is another reason why he's so proud of what he's been able to do.

----Side note, several Southern Speed, Inc. trucks have been running 22lbs across the board for a while now. Shawn still has fuel on the table. Just show's that he is definitely tuning differently from some of the guys who've said that they were out of fuel.

Boosted just added the Garret CAC, and at 22lbs+ my understanding that the immediate issue is heat soaking....if the heat soaking is better, maybe we'll see 24lbs on stock turbos.....at that I think that's the end of their usefulness.
