I am running the canned SCT 91 tune right now, have been running the canned SCT 87 tune until about a week ago. Both give more improvement over stock than any tuner I've used before. Stock with 20" tires they would barely spin with the traction control engaged. Either the 87 or 91 tune will spin the tires easily in First and get good scratch in second gear and tc engaged. Still get 21.5 mpg on the highway if I hold it under 65mph. Haven't run on a track, none close to where I live. But seat of the pants difference is great. Pulls 18 ft boat great and gets about 14.5-15 mpg at 65 mph.

I've been running the SCT canned 87 tune for a few days now (roughly 350 miles). So far it feels good. I originally had the 5Star 87 tow/perf installed since late July. It ran good with that tune but then I got greedy and wanted more so I installed the 91 tow/perf from 5Star. Thats when things got all screwy. That tune was all jacked so I switched back to the 87. I thought things were ok but noticed on hills my truck was hating life. Mike sent me all new files and I updated the SCT. Flashed the 87 tune again and same thing. Mike sent me another file to try but I've just been too busy. However, my truck runs ok stock and seems to love the canned 87 tune so I just might leave it in. Mike has been quick to respond and a lot of help. I did change the plugs a while back (1 step colder) and set the gap to a tight .032" so I'm not sure if that is some of the problem or not. I was just wondering if anyone is towing with canned SCT tunes and if anyone has had any problems caused by the SCT canned tunes. Thanks for the replys!

I'm running canned 87, AFE stage 2 and MAK performance down pipes. Truck does just fine for what I need it to.
