I started this exact thread a few months ago and it got deleted due to people writing about street races. Keep these results limited to what u have done on a track or closed course so we dont lose the thread again. That said my results are, i have beat a 6.0 ford diesel with edge programmer, stock 4.7 dodge by a mile, 09 hemi with cai, headers, tune. He swore i sprayed him after losing to me twice, i let him look, ha. Just 93 tune, airaid, magnaflow. My truck is a 11 screw 4x4 offroad

Stock for stock, and all the things being equal even both driver's experience, the 5.0 should easily take the Chevy 5.3 and Titan 5.6. The newer Hemi and Tundra 5.7's will easily take the 5.0 unless their is a very inexperienced driver in it. Tuned or modified might be a different story depending on how much money you have to play with, but there is also that old adage the keeps being brought up in this forum when comparing the EB to the 5.0. "There is not replacement for displacement", and if that case holds true like others say then the 5.0 is on the loosing end of that war with the smallest displacement unless you add more. In that case it would no longer be a 5.0.

The dynos have shown over 310 hp on many bone stock coyotes at the rear wheels. Mine dyno'd 312 rwhp at my uncle's shop down on the coast, at 30 feet above sea level on 87 octane gas. The new hemi makes just under 310 rwhp in a two wheel drive.

Combine that with their old school transmission, and it shouldn't be close.

I don't know enough about the Tundra engine to give you data on it, but I raced a buddy on a straight track (old runway) and it was real close, with my 4x4 Screw just outrunning his 2wd Screw.

Fill up with ethanol before hitting the track, and you should easily dust them.

Stock for stock crewcabs the only one that stands a chance is the 5.7 tundra and the 6.2 chevy. The brand new 2013 hemi might have a chance but the early reviews I was show that even with the 8 speed and more power it really isn't much faster than the 2012. The only thing I have had close to me is my brother 2011 ecoboost and that was a drivers race.

I beat 2 of my buddies' 5.3L GM's all day, every day. Took out a stock Hemi on one run, but a Hemi with CAI and cat-back took me out each time we lined up; he was more than half a truck length over me when I hit the limiter both times.

This is true. The old addage that theres no replacement for ditsplacement is weak now. Technology is becoming a replacement, and fords new motors prove it. The tundra and 11 and up hemis have encripted computers also, meaning no tuning. If u see either of those trucks dusting a 5.0 or eco then they either sprayed it or have forced induction.
I read on a titan forum where a member said he got beat by a new ford, but didnt know which motor it had. Another member told him either motors are faster. Said if u heard it, prob 5.0, if u didnt, prob eco.
