How do you drive your truck? Easy mostly? How often do you go WOT per drive?
I'm asking because I've been reading about this condensation problems on here all this time and it reminds me of some problems diesel guys were having when I worked service at the local Ford dealership. Clogged EGRs were becoming an issue and the customers response on the most problematic trucks were all the same: "I baby this thing! I don't even tow!"
We noticed the trucks ran hard seemed to never give trouble. I've noticed that many of the tuned Eco guys who spend time at the track report great reliability. I'm thinking if the trucks get ran harder, the condensation will stay sucked out. The problem is the easy driving allowing it to build up, then that overdue WOT punch sucks it in.
Just a guess?

I drive mine more hard than easy, but on this misfire did for the 1st time stand on it for ALL it had on a damp rainy am after hours of driving in rain day before. From what I've read on here makes sense it happened when it did - wound her out a few times since and driving more hard than easy still. So far no misfire
Getting plugs anyway.

Can't believe he told you to not do the plugs because it's still under warranty...wtf? Hell, I just had mine replaced because I'm at 27.5k miles on my 2011 ecoboost this past weekend. Had them put in the SP-534's gapped at .030", and they didn't have a problem doing it. Cost was $150. Since I've had my truck I've never had the fall on it's face problem, I don't drive it like an old lady but I also don't dog the crap out of it either. So far my engine has performed pretty much flawlessly for me. Only thing I've done to it is full synthetic oil every 5k miles (since I live in a cold climate during winter it's going to be 3k in the winter from now on) and now the plugs changed out. Runs like a champ.

I think drilling a hole in the CAC that constantly drains is a better solution but that is just my opinion.
