Default Are shorty type headers worth installing?

Seeing as how hard installing long tube headers is on 5.0's will putting these types of headers be much easier and yield any noticeable gains?

Minimal gains for a lot of $$$. Really not worth it.

I installed JBA shorties on my former Big Bronco 5.8 and also on my former Fox Mustang 5.0 which improved real-world street performance vs max HP @ high RPM with long tube headers best suited for racing. IMO, each installation should factor realistic objectives - especially on trucks - before reaching for the credit card. My truck's exhaust will remain stock - other than complete OEM Raptor system installed yesterday.

JBA descriptions on shorty and long tube headers (no applications for late model F150 trucks):

Major exhaust restriction is at the manifold itself to spin the turbos up quick with lil lag

Not on 5.0s. No turbos there.
