Short Concise Description of GDIs
With all the talk about DI and Carbon Build Deposits, I found a short "blurb" about GDI...just info.

So the high pressure solvent coming out of them when driving won't keep the spray pattern intact? Sales pitch BS here, nothing more.

I think it points more to the fact that you should run some kind of injector cleaner on a more consistent basis. Start early in the life of the EB and continue to vigilant...
It also inadvertently adresses the question of bigger injectors with mods. The DI style injectors do not operate on a varying "duty cycle" to add or trim fuel. The add fuel within a set timeframe...say 5ms...to add more fuel the high pressure pump raises the fuel pressure.
