Shifting from 4wd to 2wd

Shifting from 4wd to 2wd
Have any of you guys shifted from 4hi to 2wd at wide open throttle? Just curious if the drivetrain can handle that shift. Mainly to be able to launch in 4wd and disengage it to reduce drivetrain drag.

My 12 lariat would do it, but my 13 fx4 won't do it, it just stays engaged in 4wd.
Now 99% of the guys on here will say its not possible but I have video proving otherwise. In this video I'm boost launching in 4wd and immediately switching to 2wd. And that's not a 4wd scratch. It's not possible.

I would find it doubtful that the hubs would unlock under power (vacuum on or not).

Holy ****, you need to get that tune to the track. Does yours shift out if 4wd since its the 4wd system as the lariat.
Well I stand corrected in my statement about 4wd bark then. But mine did shift out and I could feel it disengage, mine was a right rear bark only.

Mine is slow to leave 4x4 sometimes too under power. Takes 100' or more if I am in the throttle.... Not drag racing, just driving. Thought about taking it in under warranty....

There are guys at Kansas International Dragway running 4X4's and getting bark off of the line all the time. The only one's I've seen get more than take-off bark are the heavy-tuned diesels. The gassers just keep pulling (both 5.0 and Eco). The only 6.2L I saw out there this season was getting it in 2WD I think.
