Default SCT x4 7015 question

I'm looking to buy the SCT x4 7015 tuner and i found a brand new one on amazon for a really good price. For some reason when i put my specific vehicle model in(2013 F150 FX4 ecoboost) it says it doesn't fit. Is this possible? I thought there was no specific fitment. Also after i buy the tuner am I able to install a custom tune from SSI easily?

There is a select group that tout SSI but certainly not the majority. I have 5* and MPT custom tunes on my x4 and they both are awesome, you can't trust that fitment guide on amazon, most times it's just plain wrong, more often than not.

yes the SCT x4 will work for your 13 3.5 right out of the box with one of the three preloaded tunes on it from SCT and it can hold up to ten custom tunes in addition as well. And yes, it's very simple to load a custom tune on a tuner, doesn't take any special skill at all

Are the canned tunes from the SCT X4 7015 worth using at all.

I just ordered one, along with a Tonno Pro Lo Roll bed cover and 275/60/20 Cooper AT/3's. I guess in a week or so I will know how they work.

Rnlcomp I am on my phone so I cant see your sig, is your truck an eb or 5.0. If its a 5.0 did 5* or mpt have the best all around tune for 87 octane for power and fuel mileage. I am hoping to just buy one tune for mine.

So does SSI, I bought my X4 back in August with 3 custom tunes.

There is a reason for that, even if people think it is a select few, SSI is growing way more than you know. I have never had a tune from 5*,MPT or LET. Im sure there are a few that are happy with them too. I have talked with the first two on the phone and they seemed very nice. I am currently running a SSI GEN4 tune in my 5.0 and it is awesome. SSI was running a 2 for $100 special.
Good luck with your decision. I hope you end up happy whoever you choose.
